Guarantees and Refund

Serendib Gem Jewels appeared on the market in 2018, so they simply haven’t had the necessary time yet for the trust to be built towards their quality and towards all our services.

We have faith that in time the experiences with Serendib Gem Jewels and Serendib services will build the bridges of confidence and trust, however, we believe we are due to make the first steps.

In case the jewels were used as intended, yet they fail due to material or manufacture errors, we offer a permanent warranty to Serendib jewels without any time limit.

In our vision after delivering our jewels to their owners we are taking care of them so that we can be part of assuring their everlasting beauty.

 

  • Refund Policy

In case the purchased jewel does not please you from any reason, we return the total price within 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase has been received, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

In order to return the price of the jewel we ask you the following data:

  • Name, address, email address, phone number
  • The item number of the jewel
  • The serial number of the order
  • The bank account data you want to get the refund

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

  • Warranty

So, we offer a permanent warranty to our jewels, in case they were used as intended, yet they fail due to material or manufacture errors. If no repair is possible, you can choose another jewel for the same price.

In order to solve the problem the possible fastest way in case of any complaint connected to our jewels, please contact us via email.

In order to repair your jewel the as soon as possible we ask you the following data:

  • Name, address, email address
  • The item number of the jewel
  • The serial number of the order
  • The bank account data you want to get the refund
  • Detailed description of the fault

There is no warranty for:

  • Normal abrasion or scratching due to wearing the jewel.
  • Discoloration due to exposure of external chemical materials (cosmetics, thermal water, etc.)
  • Medical side effects of the silver (metal allergy).
  • Any damages due to not wearing the jewel as it is intended.
  • Any damages faults and flaws caused by not sufficient use, store or injury.

After receiving your complaint we will get back to you within a day or two via email in order to clarify the details and possibilities of the warranty repair and also notify you of the approval or rejection of your claim. Following our clarification we will send you an email to confirm the beginning of the warranty repair.

In case your complaint is confirmed yet no repair is possible you can choose another Serendib Gem Jewel for the same price, with no further delivery costs.

Important: If you send us a photo of the jewel (a mobile picture will make it) to our email address, you can help the whole process be faster.

Please, send the defective product back to us on a proven, safe way to our postal address. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
